Psychedelic-assisted therapy is an emerging approach to mental health and personal growth that combines intentional use of psychedelic medicine with professional support, preparation, and integration.

Rather than simply taking a substance, psychedelic therapy is a structured process designed to help individuals explore their inner world with guidance and care.

Psilocybin — the active compound in certain mushrooms — can temporarily shift patterns of perception, emotion, and thinking. In a supportive setting, this shift can allow people to access insights, emotional healing, and new perspectives that may be difficult to reach through ordinary states of consciousness.

At Wildglow Alchemy, psychedelic work is approached as both a therapeutic and ceremonial process, held with preparation, intention, and integration.

Why Psilocybin Can Be Transformative:

Psilocybin experiences often shift the way the mind processes thoughts, memories, and emotions. Many people report experiencing a sense of expanded awareness, emotional release, or new perspectives on long-standing patterns.

Research suggests that psychedelic experiences may temporarily increase flexibility in the brain, allowing individuals to see their lives from new angles and reconnect with parts of themselves that have been buried or avoided.

For many people, this can create moments of deep insight — sometimes described as years of perspective unfolding in a single day.

However, the experience itself is only one part of the healing process. What matters most is how those insights are understood and integrated afterward.

Set, Setting, and Support:

The context surrounding a psychedelic experience plays a crucial role in shaping its outcome. In psychedelic therapy, facilitators pay close attention to:

Set – the mindset, intentions, and emotional readiness of the participant
Setting – the environment where the journey takes place
Support – the presence of trained facilitators who can help guide and hold the experience

When these elements are thoughtfully prepared, the experience is far more likely to feel safe, and be meaningful and beneficial.

At Wildglow Alchemy, we take this responsibility seriously, creating an environment that prioritizes safety, care, and respect for the depth of this work.

What a Psilocybin Journey Can Feel Like

Every psychedelic experience is unique.

Some people experience deep emotional release, while others encounter vivid memories, symbolic imagery, or a profound sense of connection to themselves, others, or the natural world.

Journeys may include moments of joy, insight, and clarity — but they can also bring challenging emotions or memories to the surface. We believe difficult moments, with the right support, can be greatly beneficial to healing.

Our facilitators are present throughout the journey to offer support, grounding, and reassurance when needed.

Preparation and Integration

The psychedelic experience itself is only one part of the process.

Preparation sessions help participants clarify their intentions, understand the nature of the experience, and develop inner resources that will support them during the journey.

Afterward, integration sessions help translate insights from the experience into meaningful changes in everyday life. With thoughtful integration, insights can become lasting transformation.

Both preparation and integration are essential and required.

Types of Journeys:

One-on-One Journeys:

At Wildglow Alchemy, many participants choose to experience their psilocybin journey in a private, one-on-one setting with a trained facilitator.

A 1:1 journey offers a deeply personal container where the full focus of the experience is centered on your process. With dedicated support and a calm, intentional environment, this setting allows individuals to move through their journey at their own pace while feeling as supported and safe as possible.

Throughout the experience, your facilitator is present to help maintain a grounded, supportive atmosphere. While the medicine guides an inner journey (usually accompanied by music and an eye mask), facilitators are available and can offer gentle reassurance, grounding, and care when needed.

A one-on-one setting can be especially supportive for individuals who:

• are navigating significant life transitions
• want a highly personalized experience
• prefer privacy and individual attention
• are approaching psychedelic work for the first time

In this quiet, supported space, many people find the opportunity to listen to parts of themselves that have been waiting a long time to be heard.

Group ceremonies:

While some people choose to work with psilocybin in a private one-on-one setting, others feel drawn to the experience of journeying within a small, supportive group. Wildglow group journeys have a maximum of 8 participants, supported by multiple facilitators.

Group journeys bring together individuals who share a sincere intention for healing and personal growth. Although each person moves through their own inner experience, the shared container can create a powerful sense of connection and support.

Participants have the opportunity to connect before and after medicine, but are strongly encouraged to not speak to one another while in ceremony.

Many people find that being in a group setting can deepen the experience in wonderful and unexpected ways. Witnessing others on their path can create a sense of shared humanity, reminding participants that healing often happens not only within ourselves, but in connection with others.

Group journeys may be especially meaningful for individuals who:

• feel supported by community and shared experience
• appreciate collective ceremony and intentional space
• want to witness and be witnessed in a process of healing
• value connection alongside personal transformation

At Wildglow Alchemy, group journeys are intentionally small and carefully facilitated to ensure that each participant receives the attention and care they need.

Preparation and integration remain essential and required parts of the process, helping participants bring insights from the experience into their daily lives.

While each journey is deeply personal, many people discover that healing can be amplified when it unfolds in the presence of a compassionate community.

It is essential to recognize that psychedelic-assisted therapy is not a standalone solution and it is not for everyone.
